How does it work? Buy or Assign?
There’s a two way approach when handling judgments. One is we can purchase your judgment by offering you some cash up front, and you then assign the judgment to us and we go after the full face value. Cash up front offers are below the face value of the judgment, since we assume the risk and costs associated with collecting on it. This is the preferred method. The alternative is you assign your judgments to us contingent on collecting. The rates for this vary by volume and the average amount of the judgment
